About us...
The mixed choir Musica Fortuna was founded in Turnov, Czech Republic in 1987 with the aim of sharing the joy of music with its members and audience alike.
There is a variety of musical styles performed by Musica Fortuna. The repertoire includes classical music, folk song arrangements, contemporary music, spirituals, pop and jazz. The choir does not shy away from experiments, uses choreography in its performances and cooperates with small instrumental groups and various soloists.
Throughout the past 25 years Musica Fortuna has performed many concerts and tours in the Czech Republic and abroad. We have sang in Germany, Sweden, Italy, France, England, Slovakia, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Netherlands or Ireland.
There are about 40 members spanning wide age range, but for sure, all of us are young at heart. Judge for yourself… Musica Fortuna online
